Ugg Boots – Why They Make The List For Traveling to Cold Places

We all know that traveling is lots of  fun, you get to see lots of different places, you also get to experience different climates.  I grew up living in a nice tropical climate, I spent days and nights outside enjoying the tropical life style.

Winter usually meant  five nights a year where a blanket on the bed was needed.

The very first time I took a trip and spent time in a destination that was in a cold climate (  Akaroa in New Zealand ).  It was right in the middle of winter, and I got caught in a snow storm, I nearly froze and I was knee deep and my crocs wern’t going to cut it.

The first shop I found I bought myself a pair of UGG BOOTS, if you’re not familiar with what a pair of UGG boots are, just think of a sheep skin rug that your feet wear, they are awesome.

Where are Ugg Boots From

UGG boots are a unique Australian creation.

What Size do I need

When I order a pair of Ugg Boots I always order one size smaller, as they are generally a big boot.

Tall or Short

Ugg boots usually come in a short ankle cut or a tall version.

Colours

There are plenty of different colours out there on the market.

Original or Knock off.

There are two different types  original certified or a knock off design.  Now I am currently wearing a pair of Billabong Ugg boots, they were a little expensive but a good quality make.

There are plenty of different brands and prices out there, if you are looking for a pair just make sure you are getting a good well made pair.

Do I want to Travel with them

If you are hard core traveling on the road with a back pack. Then probably not.  If you are planning on living in a location for 6 months. Lets say for example Canada and do the ski season then yes, get your self a pair.

The Wash up

I love my ugg boots.  I now live in a place where I get a winter for 3 months of the year. There is a pair in my cupboard all year round.
